How unusual is this?

when bf and gf are dating for a year and a half as adults in their late 30's ..and the guy is considering living with her he moves most not all of his stuff in and goes to his spot one night out of the week and still hangs on to his place even 11 months later? he says he is still not ready and they get along great but the guy has had very scary issues with past girlfriends and living with them. I guess what im asking here is isn't that kind of a very long time to make up your mind? it seems that he has his mind made up but just keeps saying he's not ready yet! im thinking of sending him back home so he can make up his mind already cause now we are together two and a half years....How unusual is this?
Don't send him back if you don't want to lose him. It took my mother 10 years to completely move to her ';boyfriend';. And she still keeps her apartment just in case. He never saw it as a problem. And look, now they are together all the time. Be patient and try to talk to him if it really bothers you. Let him know that you are worried, so that he can see your point of view, but don't forget to look at it his way too. Talk about it, but don't pressure him. That's never good.How unusual is this?
some people have a very hard time getting over things i know im only 18 and dont have much experience i guess.. but me and my husband been dating for two yrs now and before that he was on and off with a girl which they were really in love and he left me after like 4 months of me dating him for her but now they dont talk or nuttin but it still scares me even though my hubby says he loves me n we have a sone together... sumtimes things hit people really hard and they just need time to go through it and sum people mite need help with it if u love him let him know that whether hes takin for ever or not tell him ull wait and u wont rush him into nuttin..
